Hotel Waldhaus Am See - St. Moritz

Fine views of Lake St Moritz from our Double Room Lake View made mornings special. Breakfast restocking was slow and should improve.

Hotel offers a beautiful view of the lake and St. Moritz. It is a three minute walk from the station.

We had a room on the first floor. This was a little bright (music from the bar below).

Location very close to the restaurant and center of the town. Big beds, a mini-bar, satellite TV and central heating in the room. Easy check-in, parking on site.

The room was disappointingly small and poorly laid out. We expected more space to unpack our luggage, but there was hardly enough room for a large suitcase. The furnishings felt basic, with uncomfortable wood chairs that did not suit the price we paid.

The double room was new-fashioned, very well taken care of. Got the view of lake. The hotel's location was wonderful, adjacent to the fancy boutiques are, the lake overlooking the city centre and nearby attractions.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were very unfriendly.

The hotel was impeccably clean and peaceful, had magnificent views to the lake. The stay itself was really nice, the stuff was very helpful and available. The free parking was onsite, great service:)))

Even though everything was nice, some of the staff were very unfriendly.

The reception lady was quite underwhelming. I also expected a complimentary gesture, maybe an upgrade, but sadly, i was like just another guest. Not to mention, the shower in the bathroom was barely functional. I almost gave it a good review but just couldn't.

A bit too far outside the town centre, but that's the way it is and cannot be changed.

Very nice location at the lake. Directly in short proximity to the railway station. We'll be happy to come back.

Staying at Hotel Waldhaus Am See was a delight! My single room offered amazing views of the lake and the village, and I loved the little touches like a kettle with free coffee and tea. The restaurant was fantastic, especially enjoying meals by the large windows overlooking the picturesque scenery. I appreciated the thoughtful amenities they provided, such as a wet and dry sauna and bicycles available .

Breakfast could use a bit more variety.

We had a great stay. The location is fantastic, the room was clean and good in size. The beds are a little too soft, but comfortable. The staff very attentive and the food good.

The road to the hotel is on an incline due to its location. Especially during arrival and departure you may have to walk up the sting from the parking lot. According to our observation, some elderly people had a hard time through the winter.

Immaculately clean and luxury place, has splendid views of the lake and mountains. The employees are dedicated and highly courteous. The location is stunning and incredible and they have parking onsite: D

Excellent location at head of Lake with superb views from rooms and restaurant. Mini bus transport to and from train station although it was also within easy walking distance. Spa and sauna facilities looked good although did not have time to use them. Being Scottish, my husband really appreciated the largest whisky collection in the world in the bar! Just check the prices for each brand though..some are so rare you would need a mortgage to pay!

No issues with the hotel but St.Moritz was like a ghost town at this time of year. Lovely surroundings but no atmosphere. Admittedly we arrived early evening and left at 10am in the morning for next part of our journey.

We loved the wonderful position of the hotel (right on the lake). We enjoyed beautiful views, were able to walk on the lovely paths around the lake and also through the forest above it, and best of all we met the delightful masseuse Vincent, who truly made our stay one to remember.
